I brought all the money from my father’s business and real estate, because he had told me about an investment project involving local oil companies. He lied to me, claiming he held a license to supply oil. Upon my arrival, he tried various schemes to get his hands on my money. He kept demanding large sums—$50,000, $100,000, and so on. Every day, he would invent a new pretext to extract money from me. I have already handed over about $879,000 to him. I am terrified and deeply worried. He never took me to his home; instead, he put me up in a hotel room. I asked repeatedly to see where he lived, but he always refused. He claimed he didn't want his brothers to "steal" from me. He told me how jealous he was. He kept taking money from me constantly; whenever I asked questions, he claimed it was for registration fees. When I finally realized his true intentions, I took the money and my suitcases to a security company for safekeeping. I explained that the luggage was to be shipped to the United States for my return trip and paid the storage and security fees; as a precaution, I did not reveal that the suitcases contained money.

After that, I left the hotel where I was staying and moved to the one where I am currently located. I need your help now; I have enough money to support us once I arrive where you are. We could settle down together in the United States or even in Paris. I don't want to live here anymore, and I don't want to be alone; please help me. I haven't told anyone about this because I don't want to lose the money; everyone here seems dishonest and untrustworthy to me.
